Trust Rugby International (tri), is a Scottish based registered charity with a national, international and intercultural remit. Founded in 2010, Trust Rugby International is a proactive organisation whose goal is to bring diverse individuals and communities together by using the game of rugby in all its’ forms. We are one of only a handful of fully unified, full contact rugby teams in the world.
What is ’unified‘ Rugby?
Unified Rugby is where players with and without disabilities train, play and compete in the same team playing contact and touch rugby.
Why do it?
To remove barriers and enable participation for certain individuals that may be prevented from benefiting from the life enhancing experiences Rugby generates.
How does it work?
We play contact rugby with a system that follows the World Rugby age grade laws with certain adaptations.

Since our beginnings in Ayshire in 2012, tri has expanded its’ reach throughout Scotland to create 6 regional Scottish Clans.
Our program includes weekly training at sites around the country, coupled with Regional and National games.
As a result of our programme, thousands of people across Scotland have had the opportunity to experience unified rugby at first hand.
With an International remit and with the commitment of our Spanish colleagues, tri Spain became our first international partner in 2014 and subsequently we have expanded to include New Zealand, Canada and USA
